September 2007 - OH MY GOD!

Erm...I've know for a while that a little rust was probably lurking under the Louvered window so today I decided to take the window out and see how bad things were. basically I'm going to have to learn to weld well quite quickly. It's completely rotten !!

September 2007 - Rust

Well the weather didn't really ever improve this summer so I've done bugger all to the van....up until now. I bought myself a cheao little angle-grinder (I now own 3) and a special wire brusg attachment and set about getting rid of the nasty rusty patch on the n/s rear roof corner.

January 2007 - SORN

My ex did some great work on the cushion covers last summer, and Vera did go out on about 4 outings, but for personal reasons I haven't had the time to update the site or do much work on her. I hope to spend more time on her this year and will make an effort to update the site.

As you can see, Vera is currently off-road until the weather improves.


September 10th-11th 2005 - Vanfest

The weather was supposed to be nice that weekend, so we thought we'd chance it a go along to Vanfest.

error-file:tidyout.log Saturday began with a horrendous downpour which flooded our old awning and made us miserable.
error-file:tidyout.log We decided to stay and get a new awning, which turned out to be an utter bargain.
error-file:tidyout.log Here is one of the 'Cooking in a camper' contestants being judged. All of the dishes sounded great.

August 6th-9th 2005 - West Country Trip

We all went to see the Arsenal v Chelsea Community Shield match in Cardiff and did a spot of camping as well.

error-file:tidyout.log It all ended on a bit of a sad note as Vera blew an oil seal and had to be recovered back to London from just past Stonehenge on the A303.

July 30th 2005 - Lee Valley Campsite, London

Seeing as the kids an I are off camping the second week of August I thought it would be good to spend another night in Vera.

July 22nd 2005 - Herbie Fully Loaded Preview

We got 2 free tickets to see a preview of the Herbie Reloaded movie, here's a few pics of the car park.

July 2nd 2005 - Trip to Ely

Live8 Weekend, the kids and I travelled up to Ely to buy this awning from a JustKampers chatter and stayed at a local campsite to try it out.
